Meeting Notice

The VSUAA Board of Director meetings are held four times a year during the months of August, November, February, and May on the campus of Virginia State University. Special Meetings are called when necessary, based on two-thirds vote of the Board. Quarterly meetings, other than the Annual Meeting, are held at alternate locations as designated by the Board of Directors.

The annual budget of the Association is presented to the Board at the February meeting and recommended to the membership at the Annual Meeting for approval by the members in attendance. Financial members of the Alumni Association are invited to attend all public meetings.

During this meeting new executive committee (board) members will be elected to lead the Association for the next three years (2009 - 2011).  

Notice of VSUAA Annual Alumni Meeting

The Virginia State University Alumni Association announces its Annual Alumni Meeting.

Place:           Jones Dining Hall 

During this meeting all financial members will vote on the Board of Directors' approved modifications to the existing VSUAA by-laws and on a proposed budget for the Association for fiscal year 2009.  Newly elected officers will also be presented to the membership at this meeting.

All members of the Board of Directors are required to attend both meetings.  If you can not attend please notify Charlene Jackson-Fields, National President, in order to vote by proxy.  We encourage all alumni to come out and learn more about the great work the Alumni Association is doing.
