Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Virginia State University Alumni Association! Membership is open to all Virginia State graduates, former students, parents, and friends who have an interest in advancing the goals of the University through the Alumni Association. Earning a degree from Virginia State is not a requirement.
The Alumni Association offers the following ways to join:
- Through the Local Chapters
The best way to join the Alumni Association is through the local area chapter. Local chapter dues vary and are in addition to the National membership dues of $30. Both local and National dues should be paid through the local chapter. See the Alumni Chapter section of this site for more information.

If there is no active local chapter in your area, you can join the Alumni Association as a Member-At-Large. To join under this status, download the Membership-At-Large Application below and mail it, along with your national membership dues of $30.00 to:

Make all checks or money orders payable to the Virginia State University Alumni Association (or VSUAA). Please allow two weeks for delivery of your membership card.
