The Virginia State University Alumni Association's Articles of Incorporation were adopted in 1949, establishing the Alumni Association as a not-for-profit corporation. This document has since been amended several times by the Association’s Board of Directors. The articles and bylaws define the organization's purposes, structure, and governance.
